In our overseas phone interview, we speak with 2010 Australian MX5 Champion and CUE Endurance Champion, Ash Miller about his recent move to the UK and his impressive debut in the Air Asia Clio Cup.
With a career set sight on Endurance Racing, Ash details how his committment and perseverance at a young age (that not only won him Australian motor racing titles, but also multiple Irish dance championships) has given him the edge to succeed in a competitive overseas environment.
Despite the harsh economic climate in the UK, Miller (like a raft of savvy young drivers) is adept at using new media to increase his exposure and create his own opportunities; including the fast growing Go Fund Me online project so necessary for young talent chasing sponsorship.
As well as raising funds for his own dreams, Ash is a tireless supporter of the KSS Air Ambulance Service – which airlifts not only injured racing drivers but members of the wider public. We hope you enjoy our engaging chat!
